The Rapid Mixer Granulator is designed for both ingredient mixing and wet granulation, which is necessary in the tablet/capsule manufacturing process. This is accomplished by reducing processing time, increasing homogenous mixing and granule size homogeneity, and, most importantly, ensuring better hygiene in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
Mixing bowl:
It’s circular, with a huge diameter and a flat base. The top section of the bowl is conical in shape to aid in the mixing of cohesive particles. Made from SS 316/316L. A wide-diameter tube covers the drive shaft as it enters the bowl’s base.
The main driving shaft seal is located on top of the tube, considerably above the typical powder level. The shaft seal is equipped with an automated air purge.
The seal housing and drive shaft can be cleansed with cleaning water, which is subsequently emptied from the machine via the built-in discharge port.
The multi-bladed impeller is fitted near the mixing bowl’s base, while the chopper is fixed on the mixing bowl’s wall. Both the impeller and the chopper feature dual-speed choices for evenly spreading the binder solution as it is introduced and producing the vortex of the material being mixed.

A high-speed granulator blends powder and breaks it down to the desired size of granules.
The granulator rotates at two speeds: 1500 and 3000 RPM. The granulator head is made of highly polished stainless steel and may be simply removed for cleaning.
The granulator shaft, where it enters the bowl, is air-pulled.
To comply with cGMP standards, the motor comes with replaceable stainless steel covers.

Online Co-Mill
The discharge port features an online CO-Mill to eliminate large lumps. This reduces drying time by around 20%. Because the lumps are small, the product may be dried uniformly at low temperatures. In addition to preventing caseing and capping brought on by improper drying, this increases the shelf life of the tablet.

ASS operates the side discharge valve located on the bottom. Spindle attached to pneumatic cylinder in closed position. The gate is flush with the contour of the basin.
A lid with a detachable silicone rubber seal provides full access to the chute for easy cleaning.
A safety lock in the form of a limit switch is installed at the discharge port to prevent the valve or motors from starting during the cleaning process.
To comply with cGMP standards, the pneumatic cylinder is encased with a stainless steel shroud.

Notable features
