LODHA Double Cone Blender

Double Cone Blender is an efficient and versatile machine for mixing of dry powders and granules homogeneously. All the contact parts are made of stainless steel. The effective volume for optimum homogeneity is between 35-70% of gross volume. The Folding, Spreading and Cascading action of the double conical blender provides a rapid, homogeneous blending of dry and semi dry materials.  The end over end revolving action, moving materials in and out of a restricted are results in a through intermeshing of the products into a uniform mix.

Batch Work capacities:

Range from Lab Model to production model (Up to 3500 Litres) based on fill level of 55% of total volume. Each blender design is customized to suit the customer’s specific requirements.

For Improved Blend Uniformity:

Special designs incorporating internal deflector cones, or angled shell bodies are available upon request

Salient Features:

PLC Controlled, Fully Automatic load and discharge function Butterfly discharge valve is clamped to the blender outlet for quick disassembly and with Quick release design for ease of cleaning and maintenance. Valve Flange seal can be customized to suit the customer’s product container. 0 Degree position for discharge is provided Special PLC programming with safety interlocks for optimum operator safety Shaft mounted gear motor installed via shrink disc coupler eliminates maintenance of traditional gear drive. Speed regulation via AC variable frequency. The conical shape at both ends enables uniform mixing and easy discharge. All contact parts are made out of Stainless Steel 316 / 304 quality material. Maximum care has been taken to ensure safe operation of the unit. Two nos. of safety road will be provided at back side. (One LH side & one RH side) Suitable size of butterfly valve at one end of the cone provided for material discharge & hole with open able cover provided at other end of the cone for material charging & cleaning. One shaft with 3 / 4 nos. of fixed baffles with mirror polished provided inside the cone. Cone will be mirror polished from the inside & outside & structure will be matt polished. All moving parts covered with SS 304 covers. Safety guards made from SS 304 pipes provided in front of the m/c with limit switch. Panel fabricated from SS 304 material with facility of three phase indication, D.O.L. starter, digital timer & Amp. Meter. (optional) As per customer requirement machine will be provided with left side drive or with right side drive. The conical shape at both ends enables uniform mixing and easy discharge. Worm reduction gear use for speed reduction. Food grade rubber gasket will be used on both end of cone as well as in butterfly valve. Inside & outside of the cone will be polished to the mirror finished. General structure made out of SS 304 and Polished to the matt/mirror finish (as required by you). All safety guards & covers made out of SS 304. Safety guards provided with limit switch to not start the machine when safety guards are not in proper position. (optional)
